A how to post, for those who are struggling right now.
I can speak for all of us when I have said that I have struggled getting out of bed some mornings. When you get out of bed each morning to start the new day, instantly you are gambling. Will you have a good day? Will you run into problems? Will you make a friend or loose one? Will you get sick, or stay healthy? Each day is a gamble, honestly. So after you've had a bad day or two it is really typical to want to stay under your covers in your bed, where the world is out there and you are safe and protected. But, even after the worst days, you eventually need to get out of the covers and face the day. So here is why and how you can face days after your worst ones.
Lets say, that you haven't had the best week, and nothing is in your favor. After your bad days it feels like the world is throwing blocks of problems onto your plate. And after fighting that bad day, you are laying in bed the next morning, dreading not to get up. Well, I am so sorry to tell you but you need to get up. You are so strong, you cannot let a few bad days knock you over and prevent you from facing your good days. Yes, you have to get up, but you don't have to get up all at once. Start slowly. Get out of bed, go to your kitchen. Pour yourself a bowl of cereal, make some coffee. Go back to bed with your breakfast, check your email, your social media, texts, anything like that. Then, I need you to get ready. Get in the shower, get dressed, anything like that. TAKE YOUR TIME while doing this. You are having a hard time already, so go slow. Take your time. After you are done with that, take a second and look at yourself, you got ready for the day!! Go you! But lets not stop there, lets try to keep the day going.
Get Out Of The House
Take your dog for a walk. Go for a drive. Go to the grocery store, do something simple like that. Doing something that simple can take you so far mentally. And even doing the smallest thing can make you so strong mentally.
You Are So Brave
Getting out of bed after hard days can be difficult. So actually doing it, makes you one of the bravest, most strongest people out there. When you are mentally not okay, it will take almost everything out of you. Which is why, if you are struggling and you get out of bed, you are simply a warrior. A brave, beautiful warrior. Not to mention, you are strong, so strong. These hard days will come, but I believe that they will pass for you. You can do it.
