Tips to redecorating your room on a budget.
Hey guys. Welcome back to todays blog and thank you so much for clicking on this. This week I redecorated my room and I made it a little more open and I am really happy with it. So I want to share a few tips on how you can redecorate your room/ giving it a new look.
Sometimes, this is truly only what your room needs, a nice deep clean. This includes organizing. You would be so surprised how you feel after you gut your room and reorganizing and cleaning. And by deep cleaning I mean washing your window, wiping down your furniture and vacuuming/ sweeping. Doing a little extra work will take you a long way.
Wether its photos, or some cute frames, you need something in your room that represents you, and gives you a good feeling. Everyday you want to wake up to a cute room you love. Now here are some examples of decorations for my room:
PLANTS: I can't keep a real plant alive for the life of me . It's kind of sad. But fake plants are really cheap and they are also really cute. I have about four of them in my room and I think they are really cute. They make me smile.
PICTURES/FRAMES: I have pictures of some of my favorite people up on my wall. This includes polaroids and cheap pictures I printed off at walmart. I have a frame that I bought at Big Lots for five bucks that says "Explore" but its really cute and matches my aesthetic.
LIGHTS: Honestly I think everyone needs some fairy lights/ Christmas lights in their room. If not that, a cute lamp. Its really cute and brightens up your room!
Honestly if you take the time to go to a few stores, you would be surprised how many cheap frames and decorations you can find. I find my plants at Ikea, where they are around 5$, and the pots are 50 cents. My frames I find at random stores, and my lights I stole from the Christmas box in the basement.
This is my favorite plant I got from Ikea.
So when I redid my room, I got new furniture. Only a desk and a chair, mostly because I haven't had new furniture since I was 10. BUT you do not need to go and spend tons of money for new furniture. If you must, I recommend Ikea, they usually have good deals and a clearance section. But rearranging your bedroom is sometimes all your room needs for a new look/ feel to it. Moving your bed around and getting a new bed spread for like 15$ can go a long way and make you feel good about your room.
Basically guys, it isn't very hard to change up your room and love it. I learned that when I changed up my room, it made me a lot happier, and my anxiety went down. Living in a messy crowded room just wasn't going to work. So I hope you enjoyed todays blog. Make sure to subscribe guys! Have an amazing week!
