Hey guys! So tomorrow I am about to get in the car for about 10-12 hours to go to San Diego California, so I decided to make a blog post out of how to prepare for long car rides. What to pack for the car and the trip ahead.
Before I go into my tips about roadtrip's and packing, I have to announce my first giveaway winners! So this was to celebrate my one month birthday of Oceanside Daisies. And I'm giving away two Thread Wallets on my Instagram. The giveaway lasted about a week, and I got so many entree's! Sadly, there can only be two winners. So I am so glad to announce that my two winners are,
@maggie.hoch and @_.kourtneyyy._
If you did not win, or did not even enter it's okay, because this is just the start of the many giveaway's I will do on my Instagram. Winners, please contact me! Thank you everyone for entering!!
Okay, now that we got our announcement out of the way, let's talk about road trip essentials first, then packing. You have to bring some snacks on your long car drive. You don't want to waste money on expensive gas station chips that you've never heard of, in the middle of nowhere. Go to Walmart or Target and load up on your favorite snacks. Don't forget the drinks, though that may cause some pit stops. Also if you are having a bad day, please watch this video of this little girl screaming "snacks"
THE RIGHT PLAYLIST.
Do not rely on the radio, especially if you are driving to a place where you don't know the stations. Bring your aux cord and spend the night before downloading the music you love to a playlist. But make sure you download the songs, you could loose service and your data could get spotty, if you have data that is. Make sure along with that, you have a car charger! If you don't want to plug in your phone, or if you can't just take some CD's. They're still a thing I promise.
Okay, you survived the road trip. Now you've arrived to your getaway spot. Now hopefully, your common sense knew to pack the basics, such as toothpaste, deodorant, an extra pair of underwear and all of that. But if not, you're welcome. But if you are going on a nice, fancy, expensive vacation, then I suggest packing your best clothing. You never know what or who you're going to run into. But if you're in the expensive vacation area's you would want to leave a good impression, of course that is just a suggestion. That is what I do. If you are going camping, just pack the warmest stuff. I get cold so easily oh my goodness. But whatever kind of vacation you are going on, just be prepared. Especially with first aid, medication, and feminine products. (Sorry boys, your girl needs it)
I know this post was kind of short, but I have ton's of packing to do myself. My next blog post will probably be all about sunny California. I love you guys! Thank you for reading!
