Hello my gorgeous readers. Today I want to punch an important topic in the face; Self care. Self care is SO important, especially during this time of year, with finals, seasonal depression, and so much more. So today I am going to share some tips on how to take care of yourself with simple things. Please enjoy, and please consider these tips.
HAVE A MINI DECLUTTER SESSION.
When you're crazy busy, and crazy tired, and crazy stressed. (Like me, lol) Things can get kind of messy. My room, or my car are so messy/cluttered when stressed. Cleaning up and organizing makes me feel so satisfied in the end, plus it is a proven fact that you're more stressed in a messy, disorganized work space. I don't know about you guys, but I love coming home to a nice, clean room. I know you may be dreading it, but it'll be worth it in the end. I promise.
Spoil yourself! Go buy some fancy bath salts and take a nice, long, relaxing bath. Blast your favorite music and forget the rest of the world for an hour. The stress will melt away in your nice, hot bath. Or go take long, hot shower. Organize your thoughts. Take an hour and a half in there away from people, your phone, and just life in general.
WATCH MINDLESS TV.
Take an afternoon and binge watch one of your favorite shows. Forget the world and laugh, or cry to your show on Netflix. I personally suggest F.R.I.E.N.D.S . That one is always my favorite. Order some pizza, or make some hot chocolate. You deserve it.
DO SOMETHING YOU LOVE.
Read a book. Write in your journal. Pet a dog. Go on a drive. Do something that sincerely makes you smile. Starting this blog was actually me trying to take care of myself. Because I knew I loved to write. And I knew that I loved going on adventures. So I put the two together and now here I am, taking great care of myself, happy as can be. (I am sad sometimes too, but isn't everyone?) I challenge you to get out there and do something that sincerely makes you smile, and make you feel like you.
In conclusion my loves, make sure you're taking care of yourself. Make sure that you are smiling. Life is short and you don't want to use your time not doing the things you love. Remember that you are beautiful and the best person you could ever be. If you feel like you can be better, then do it. It's 2018, you can do anything! Have an amazing week my loves.
