Tips to getting the perfect "Summer Body"
Yes, it is only February, BUT swimsuit season is approaching quickly. Therefore, it is time to work on those summer bodies. You want to look good while wearing shorts and a t-shirt this season, you especially want to look good while you are wearing a swimsuit in public this season. Pictures will be taken to make memories, you want to look your best. So here are my tips for getting the PERFECT swimsuit season body.
First, go shopping for the swimsuit you want to conquer your summer in. It can be a one piece, a two-piece, whatever you feel most comfortable with. Then try it on. Now stand in front of a mirror while wearing this swimsuit that you feel good in. Look at yourself in the mirror, mentally point out your flaws. Maybe you have some stretch marks, maybe there are a few pieces of skin that seem to be flabby. Now that you have mentally pointed out your flaws, I want you to write them down on a piece of paper. Does not matter what you write it on, it can be a scratch piece of paper. But write them down. Now that you have written them down, DESTROY that piece of paper. Step on it, rip it apart, set it on fire. Do whatever you can to destroy that AWFUL piece of paper.
Now that you have destroyed that paper, try to destroy the awful thoughts that came along with it. It does not matter if you have a few stretch marks or think you are not as skinny as you should be. You are PERFECT thick thighs are cute, stretch marks are gorgeous. Even if you feel like you are too skinny or scrawny, you are perfect. Swimsuit season is approaching and you my love are going to look gorgeous. Go to swimming parties, the beach, confident. Your body is the way it is supposed to be, so do not try to fix it, or harm it. Most of all, be kind to yourself. Love your flaws, love how gorgeous you truly are. There is only one you in this life, embrace it and love it.
Once you have done all of these steps, congrats beautiful! You have reached your swimsuit body for the season. You are ready to conquer anything. You are perfectly un-perfect and that is okay. I know this blog post is extremely cheesy, but this week I was trying on swimsuits and I felt ugly and fat. I felt that my thighs were huge! It was gross. But then I looked at it another way, I may have thick thighs, but they are gorgeous! They are part of my body and my body is fine just the way it is. If you want a cute swimsuit like the one pictured above, shop Janela Bay! They have the cutest suits. Have an amazing week my loves, go into this week confidently with a smile on your face!
